Where ,when
她所住的房子很大。
1.房子很大。
The house is very big.
2.她住在这栋房子里。
She lives in the house.=>which/that she lives in.
The house which she lives in is very big.
The house in which she lives is very big.
In which=>where
Where=介词+which(表地点)
Which/that 前面带介词，有代表地点就可用where
Inhabit=居住（及物动词）
She inhabits the house.=>which/that she inhabits.

When=介词+which(表时间)
我们打篮球的日子就是我无法忘记的日子。
1.日子就是日子。
The days are the days.
2.我们在那些日子里打篮球。
We played basketball on those days.=>which/that
The days which we played basketball on is the days.
介词on提前which之前=>when
3.我无法忘记那些日子。
I can’t forget those days.=>which/that(做宾语可以省略)
The days when we played basketball is the days which I can’t forget.

Why=介词+which （表原因）
这就是我打你的原因。
1.这就是原因。
This is the reason.
2.我由于这个原因打你。
I hit you for the reason.=>which/that=>for which I hit you.=>why I hit you.
This is the reason why I hit you.

Whose=谁的(人或非人都可以用)
我喜欢窗户大的房子。
1. 我喜欢房子。
2. I like the house.
3. 这个房子窗户很大。
4. The house’s=>whose windows are very big.
5. I like the house whose windows are very big.

限定性 定语从句
非限定性 定语从句
1. This is my brother who lives in Shanghai.
2. 这是我住在上海的哥哥。限定
3. This is my brother ,who lives in Shanghai.
4. 这是我的哥哥，她现在住在上海。 非限定

That在定从不能用的情况：
1. 前面带介词
2. 非限定从

非限定从的引导词不能省略
1. Tom is very smart ,which（表带前面一整句话） everybody knows.
2. Tom非常的聪明，这件事是所有人都知道的
Tom is very smart, as everybody knows.

Which/as as额外表示“正如”的意思

As everybody knows.=>状语
状语：随便放（只要读得通）
As everybody knows, Tom is very smart.
Tom ,which everybody knows, is very smart.
The apple, which everybody knows, is red.
Which everybody knows ,the apple is red. 错
记少不记多：which不能放开头

你所对话的那个人是我哥哥。
You talk to the people ,The person is my brother.
The person whom you talk to is my brother.
我们打篮球的操场很大。
We play basketball on the playground ,The playground is very big.
The playground which we play basketball is very big
Marry昨天看到的那个操场很小。
Marry saw the playground yesterday ,the playground is very small.
The playground which Marry saw yesterday is very small.
你与其交朋友的那个是我姐姐。
You make friends with the person ,The person is my sister.
The person with whom you make friends is my sister.
